Pontremoli and Lunigiana have a rich and various artistic architectural book heritage, which derives from a millennial history. Beyond the churches portals, in the courtyards and in the living rooms of the Baroque mansion, on the libraries shelves there are frescoes, paintings, valuable handiwork, medieval sculptures, furniture, ancient books which tell endless histories.

Chiese castelli e palazzi Aperti is an event of guided tours and extraordinary openings organised by Farfalle in Cammino, which since 2006 has allowed to thousands of tourists to admire places, which are otherwise inaccessible. It offers tourist, lovers and Lunigiana inhabitants the possibility to discover the beauties of the town, which are, for the great part of  the year, closed.

Since 2014 our association organizes guided tours in the Historical Gardens of Lunigiana (Giardini Storici della Lunigiana) which are open on the occasion of national days of ADSI – Toscana (Association Historical Mansion of Tuscany).

For some years this event concerns not only Pontremoli but other communes of Lunigiana: Filattiera, Bagnone, Tresana, Aulla, Mulazzo, Licciana Nardi.
